Looking to organize cultural excursions, traing days, team-building activities, or just a day out with with family or friends? A guided tour of museum Beelden aan Zee gives you the memorable opportunity to learn more about our unique sculpture museum and its collection. Discover the stories behind exhibitions and the inspirations behind artists, together with our respected specialists. 

Group tours

Tours are based on our collection and current exhibitions. We can provide bespoke tours that focus on one or more specific subjects upon request.
For groups larger than 4 people, we advise additional tour leaders.

Language: standard in Dutch. On request: in English or German
Duration: 60 minutes
Price: €90,00 for groups up to a maximum of 15 people, (admission fees not included)

Public guided tours

Every day at 2:00 PM there is a public guided tour with information about our own collection and the temporary exhibitions.
Visitors can register at the entrance desk.

Duration: 45 minutes
Fee: € 5,00 p.p. (admission fee not included)
Free for Friends of Museum Beelden aan Zee
Max. 12 persons 
Please register and pay at the museum entrance
It is not possible to make a reservation.
 

Guided tours for people with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia

We organize an exclusive tour for people with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia and their caregivers.

  • Date: Groups on Mondays on request / individual visits also possible on other days

  • Time: 11:00 - 12:30 / any other times by appointment

  • Fee: € 75 for a group of up to 12 people (including entrance fee) / € 10 per participant (including entrance fee). Museum card is not valid in combination with this tour.

  • Group: max. 12 persons (including guidance)

Guided tours for people with visual challenges 

The museum organizes special guided tours for the visually impaired on the first Saturday of every month.

  • Fee: € 7,50 per person, excluding admission fee
  • 11:00 - Start with coffee or tea
  • 11:30 - Beginning of the tour
  • 12:45 - Finishing of the tour
  • Reservations:
    • Mail or call museum Beelden aan Zee at binnenhandbereik@beeldenaanzee.nl or +31 (0)70 3585857, state on which date you would like to participate, how many people you will bring and what phone number you can be reached. If necessary, please take care of a companion yourself.
    • The latest opportunity to sign up is the last Wednesday before the tour.

Only the sculptures on the rear terraces and the Royal Family sculpture group on the South Patio (entrance opposite cinema) may be touched without an accompanying guide.

Guided tours with your own guide

Guided tours may be organized with your own guide. As a result of a large number of external guided tours hindering our own well trained and enthusiastic guides and their groups, there are some regulations.

Hence the following rules: 

Museum guided tours will always be prioritized.
Should a museum guided tour be held at the same time, you may be asked to start in a different room.
Please alert us to groups larger than 5 people (maximum 15 people per group) two weeks in advance.
External guided tours can only be held at 10 am and from 3:30 pm. onwards. The cost of private tours is € 100 in addition to the entrance fee.   
Please respect our maximum of one tour at a time, lasting a maximum of 60 minutes.
Please do not speak too loudly, so as not to hinder the other visitors.
