Museum Beelden aan Zee is entirely dedicated to modern and contemporary sculpture. You can see sculpture in all its forms: from figurative to abstract, from intimately small to monumentally large. As a visitor, you will always discover something new here: surprising exhibitions, a changing selection from the collection, and a varied program full of tours, workshops, and other activities.
The museum is nestled in the dunes of The Hague, beneath the historic Pavilion Von Wied, with a view of the sea. Architect Wim Quist designed the building in sand-colored concrete, glass, natural stone, and wood. Materials that almost make the museum blend into the surrounding dune landscape. A place that not only surprises with its art but is also cherished for its remarkable architecture.
The museum offers a unique place to relax and experience nature and art in peace. In spring, expansive cloudscapes create a beautiful spectacle, and in summer, you can enjoy the sunny terraces. In autumn, the dunes take on warm colors and the light changes with every step, while in winter, the surroundings gain a serene charm. Each season is different and always special.

During After Hours, you can experience Museum Beelden aan Zee after closing time. Among the sculptures, an evening-long program unfolds with dance, music, spoken word, sculpture, film, inspiring encounters, and many more surprises!
